«Aftershot» is a specially developed series of oils designed for the comprehensive care of firearms.
Thanks to our company's many years of experience in working with base oils and additives from leading global manufacturers, we have used the best and most modern products available today. Effective additives, the best base oils and components were selected to achieve the required results and properties. The issue of protection and performance of metal parts and products was separately considered and studied, which made it possible to select the most effective composition of anti-corrosion, detergent-dispersant, preservation and other additives that maximized the main base components.
The «Aftershot» series consists of oils for various purposes:
- «Aftershot «Cleaner» is a universal, low-solidifying, highly penetrating cleaning oil
- «Aftershot «Lubricant» - oil for lubrication and corrosion protection
«Aftershot «Cleaner» is a universal, low-solidifying, highly penetrating cleaning oil for firearms care, which is specially designed to remove powder deposits, rust traces, as well as various contaminants that arise during the operation of weapons. The unique composition of the oil ensures easy penetration of contaminated metal surfaces and rapid loosening of deposits, neutralization of corrosion and aggressive deposits of powder combustion products. Due to its low viscosity and excellent low-temperature properties, «Cleaner» oil is suitable for use in any weather and ambient temperature. It does not remove traces of lead and copper plating of the barrel.
«Aftershot «Cleaner» oil is intended for cleaning weapons or their metal parts from powder deposits, corrosion, lubrication and short-term preservation. It is successfully used to deconserve weapons after long-term storage. Does not require much time for cleaning and lubrication of weapons. Easily removes old soot and deposits, even a long time after firing.
The cleaning and lubrication process takes an approximate amount of time:
- 10-15 minutes for automatic small arms;
- up to 20 minutes. Other types of firearms with a caliber of up to 82 mm.
«Aftershot «Cleaner» oil is recommended for use on all types of firearms (rifled, smoothbore) and various metal surfaces and parts that require cleaning from powder deposits and other contaminants.
The oil has short-term preservative properties that protect metal for 3-5 days in humid climates.
Using the oil in the field (if not regularly cleaned), after cleaning with «Aftershot «Cleaner», in order to avoid further corrosion on metal surfaces, it is strongly recommended to use «Aftershot «Lubricant», which lubricates and protects weapons and metal surfaces from corrosion.
«Aftershot «Cleaner» oil provides:
- Speed and versatility of weapon maintenance, namely the process of cleaning and lubrication;
- Easy removal of light powder deposits, traces of rust, and other contaminants that arise during the operation of the weapon;
- Increased efficiency with constant use, as it accelerates the cleaning of weapons due to the formation of a thin protective film;
- Excellent cleaning properties, as well as properties that protect weapons from rust and extend the period until the next service;
- For convenience of use, avoidance of injuries to users and safety during transportation, storage and tactical operations, the packaging is carried out in specially selected non-pressure containers.
Instructions for cleaning and lubrication with «Aftershot «Cleaner» oil:
- The weapon is unloaded and checked for rounds in the chamber.
- The weapon is disassembled to the required extent depending on the degree of contamination.
- Use a spray bottle to spray "Aftershot "Cleaner" on all disassembled parts of the weapon that require cleaning, cleaning and lubrication. If the package does not include a spray bottle, apply "Aftershot "Cleaner" oil with impregnated patches or a cotton cloth.
- Previously, take a patch or cut pieces of cotton cloth, preferably light or white, into squares of approximately 5x5cm to 10x10cm to clean all parts of the weapon.
- From the side of the chamber, spray "Aftershot "Cleaner" (5-10 ml) into the barrel (if it needs cleaning) and rotate it to evenly cover the inner surface of the barrel.
- 3-5 minutes after applying the oil, wipe all contaminated metal parts of the weapon with a patch/cotton cloth.If necessary, it is recommended to use a brush (brush) with synthetic fibers of the required length. The amount of "Aftershot "Cleaner" oil to be impregnated with the patch/cotton cloth is selected depending on the contamination of the part or part of the weapon. Initially, the patch/cotton cloth will be dirty, and gradually, in the process of cleaning the soot, it will become cleaner and cleaner until finally it retains its original color.
- The barrel (for example, a carbine, shotgun) is cleaned from the side of the chamber by pushing a patch/cotton cloth, which is pre-moistened with "Aftershot "Cleaner" oil.
- 5-10 such passes are enough to clean a barrel that is not heavily soiled. After cleaning, wipe the barrel and parts that were cleaned dry with a dry patch/cotton cloth. If necessary, if the weapon is unmanned, or if the weapon or the surface to be cleaned is very dirty, soak the parts in oil for 10 minutes. After that, make up to 25 passes and, when finished, wipe the barrel and parts to be cleaned dry with a dry patch/cotton cloth.
- "Aftershot "Cleaner" oil has short-term preservative properties that provide metal protection for 3-5 days in humid climates. In case of irregular use of weapons (less than 1 time in 3 days), after using Aftershot Cleaner in the field, in order to avoid further corrosion on metal surfaces, it is strongly recommended to use "Aftershot "Lubricant", which protects weapons and metal surfaces from corrosion by lubricating and forming an ultra-thin protective film.
- Weapons are being assembled.
